Dina Meyer is a New York native who was born in Forest Hills Queens. She moved to Dix Hills Long Island just before she finished her high school junior year. She is the younger sister of Gregory as well as an older brother called Evan. When she was nine up to 16, she started being involved in the business of entertainment via modeling. Her acting career began at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's methods with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors that have undergone the same type of instruction. Her first performance came with Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating to Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored as the lead role in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts and established her as a sexy actress. Her talent agent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able score a recurring role on Friends.
