Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Anna Gunn is an American actress. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio and her family in late 1970s. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie roles. In 1992 Anna landed her first big part as Arden in 29 episodes from Down the Shore. In the following years, she was a guest star in a small number of television shows as well as films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 1990's when she appeared on a regular basis as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler for the show Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also part of her acting career. Gunn performed on stage in order to appear in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in Numbered Day, a podcast comprising four audio plays. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's love affair with his wife Skyler. The strained relationship as well as their final break-up mirror the tragic end to Walter White.
